Hey y'all,

I'm back with updates. I have been busy with studying for my university exams on June 3rd, just nomming my way through my book with a variety of highlighters. Planning on writing the highlighted parts in a notebook and then making some charts.. Lots of work still waiting for me. Anyway, I came here promising updates. Which basicly is a haul update of the last week. My ebay orders arrived, one by one ( still missing one bracelet set, awaiting for it eagerly ). Sadly, the leggings were not top quality, and I had to abandon them, woe is me! Everything else though, passed with flying colors. I'm going to include a few pictures, for your pleasure only.

~

Here's a overall look of what I have gotten during the past week or so. From left to right,
woven leather bracelet with a golden snitch and a heart from eBay, L´oréal Paris Nail polish top coat, name Disco Ball from Sokos ( you can find it in here ), two bottles of L´oréal Paris Nail polish shade 602 'Perle De Jade' from Sokos ( you can find it in here),BC Bonacure hairtherapy oil miracle finishing treatment from Sokos ( you can find it from your local well supplied malls as well as places like eBay ), L´oréal Paris Nail polish top coat, name 'Gold Leaf' from Sokos ( you can find it in here ) and lastly, but not least, black metal cross bracelet from eBay.

~

As you can see, most of these items were bought from a shop named Sokos, which is a supermarket near us, providing us with groceries as well as beauty supplies and all variety of clothing. It's pretty close to where I live, so that's where we usually go. Also, I've been hunting the Gold leaf- top coat forever, after seeing it on a magazine ad. All the nail polishes were cheap, just 7 euro. With the top coats, be reminded that Gold leaf has actual gold leaflets in it, and they tend to get stuck on clothing. They also are a pain in the ass to remove, as well as the Disco ball top coat, no matter how much of normal polish you have under them. They are well worth the effort though, since they last long and make a dull nail look exciting. Now more about the Perle De Jade one... It's like a pastel mint green, and I absolutely fell in love with this one. The color fits me, when mint green never does, the coat doesn't really wear out, lasts over a week on you or more.. I just love it. I had to get two, since I'm afraid I'll run out. I already used half of the first bottle, trying on all variety of top coats with it. I came into a conclusion, that the Disco ball top coat featured here makes for an awesome dip dyed nail with Perle De Jade. I really do recommend getting any of them. Here's a picture of the Perle De Jade on my nails.

~

For the hair treatment oil, I really needed one. There's two volumes of these, a lighter one and a thicker one. I've had a sample bottle of the lighter one, that has maybe two tablespoons of liquid in it, and it lasted me for several months. You really don't need a lot of it in your hair, and with my thick hair, around two pea-sized drops did it. The liquid reduces the frizz on your hair to zero, gives incredible shine and doesn't make your hair feel oily at all. I needed to buy a bigger bottle of this, and it's quite expensive.. Luckily, Sokos had a sale day on hair products, and I found this half priced. I consulted one of the merchants, and we came into a conclusion that I needed the thicker version of this. It works just the same, except that you need even less of it than you needed to lighter one. If your hair texture is naturally coarse, or you just suffer from all around problems with electric, uncontrollable, matted hair.. Try this. Your problems will be solved.

~

The bracelets didn't disappoint.. Kinda. As I previously stated, my wrists and hands are ridiculously small, so I had problems with bracelets falling off. These two weren't any different. Luckily the rings on the metallic black bracelet were big enough for the lock to fit through them, and I shortened it that way. The braided one, I don't even know how I managed to shorten it, but I kind of stretched the hoops and .. Stuff happened. Either way, they fit! And I love both of them. Here's a closeup.

~

Another thing that I bought, that has been out for a while is...

Ta-dah! Dark Souls 2 <3. I loved the first one, even if I never got really far in it, but the level of aggression it produces is nearly hilarious. Since this blog isn't about gaming, I'm just going to narrow it down to saying, that the game is at least as good as the first one. It is also easier than the first one, but will have you rage quitting numerous times either way. Well worth the money spent.

~

Anyway, this was a quick haul update. Just to be clear, I also received my hair colors, they had nothing wrong with them, and I will post more about them next month when I start my hair project! Complimentary selca in the end, keep yourselves classy bros and broettes.

Hey again community,

I'm trying to post more frequently now. Making up for the lost time etcetera etcetera. After the trip to hospital, I've been feeling really down, not really talkative, can't even text my friends because I simply don't feel like it. What usually helps me is being materialistic, which I certainly have been during the last week or so. Since I have no freaking idea when my ebay stuff will arrive, I'll just list what I ordered now, and make a real life picture collage once they are here. I also visited H&M store yesterday, just to take the edge off from the worst anxiety.

~

Lets start with Ebay.
Everybody must know by now how extremely inexpensive it is to order from Ebay. I rarely do, since I don't always trust the quality ( or I'm just simply THAT broke ). Now that I had some extra money, and I needed to buy essentials, I figured that why not order some jewelry and such. My essentials were 2 containers of LA Riché Directions semi-dye in the color of Carnation Pink.
I'm starting my hair project in May, as in bleaching the living fuck out of it and then diluting the said pink to pastel and just go with that. I'm trying to create a more peachy pink than baby pink, so I wont be going white blonde, just more like pastel orange-y. The reason why I bought two containers, was because I simply don't want to run out. I only need around a tbl spoon of color into a few dl of conditioner, so two containers of this dye should last me quite a while. I could've ordered these from Finland, but sadly the price was 9 euro per container + shipping fees, and when bought from ebay, it was only 3 euro per container plus 4 euro shipping. So you see, I saved a few bucks! Lets just hope they arrive in pristine shape, sometimes the containers might get mushed, but the dealer will happily replace them.

~

Next things that I got were three sets of bracelets. I've gone crazy over handwear, like rings and bracelets, and one can never have enough of them, am I right? So I bought two sets that contain four different braided bracelets and a single metallic black crossbracelet.

I got these two at a price of 1.50 euro! Also, free shipping. Even if they aren't top quality, I won't feel bad, given the super low price. I've seen these sets floating around Instagram for quite a while now, dreaming of my own set, but not really searching for any. I just happened to stumble upon these two, searching for metallic cross bracelets. First off, most of these bracelets are BID ONLY on ebay, and I won't bid higher than 1 euro. I lost a few bids, and then in the lower bar that has suggestions, I noticed these two, with a 'buy now' sign. I had spent at least two hours trying to find sets like these that could be bought at once, with no luck, and then these two popped up. I consider myself lucky.

This is the third simple bracelet I could find, that had a cross on it. I've been searching for these, but my everlasting problem is, that my wrist size is below average, and everything that isn't for, lets say, anorexic Asians, will slide right off. It's always such a hassle to shorten the chain, so I rather not buy any bracelets without trying them on... But this one had a short chain, so there shouldn't be any problems with it. Also, the braided ones, are adjustable to some extent.

~

The last thing I got, was a 4 euro pair of leggings with free shipping. For some reason I've never had any problems with leggings and tights when ordering online, as long as they are stretchy, so I got this pair with floral print on them.
They are pretty basic, black stretchy material with a rustic, old floral pattern ( which I happen to love ). Even if they don't necessarily fit, the price was so low I really wouldn't mind. Of course it would be lovely if they did, since I fell in love with the print.

~

That was my incoming ebay haul. I have absolutely no idea when to expect things to arrive, maybe a couple of weeks or so, but I'm a patient woman when it comes to the things I have already purchased. Next up, is the small haul I bought from H&M.

There isn't much to see here, since what I bought was essentials again. I've been meaning to buy a pair of simple black cotton leggings, since the only black leggings I have are either for working out, or just that kind of material that makes tops slide upwards... No can do. I found a low-priced pair, for 7.95 euro from the alternative clothing section, and next to them were simple black tops, another thing I've been meaning to buy! A lot of my clothes tend to be either black or white, but I've only had white and gray undertops to go with them, so finding these two was great. The top was 9.95 euro, and I didn't even notice when I bought it, but when I put it on, the top is apparently a shaping top, as in it hugs my figure and compresses it. There's also a double layer of fabric in your armpit and over the side of your breast, to press them together more? I don't know, it was a pleasant surprise. Even the top straps, that are actually really loose, are extremely comfortable. Best top, evurrrrrr.

~

To match them, I bought a white t-shirt, because I'm running low on plain t-shirts. I mean, I threw a lot of them away, since well.. They were old and my lady assets grew, stuff happened, puberty, y'know.. BOOBS... I needed a new t-shirt, m'kay? It's nothing big, just a little oversized and makes me feel good inside and all dat. Reminds me a little of Guns'n'Roses for some reason, might be the design. Either way, here's a picture.

~

And the last thing that I bought, is my favorite as of now. I've been meaning to buy a necklace, that has that ringmail feel to it, and also a necklace with triangles, or shark teeth or such.. Well, I found one that has both. FOR 7 EURO! I was super stoked when I found it, and it was in gold, which is probably the only thing I use as of late. It's pretty heavy, adjustable in lenght.. But the only problem is that the two chains tend to overlap in the most uncomfortable way, but its easily fixable, so I don't mind at all.

Isn't it pretty? Ah, H&M has a way to cater my needs. Either way, this was my haul this week, hope you enjoyed it. Going to attach a selca in the end, for your pleasure. Stay classy!

March favorites

Alright, end of the month has arrived! I know my posting has been scarce, but I'll try to make up for it as soon as I have more ideas to post about. I recall promising favorites of each month-posts, so here is what I've been obsessing about this month.

~

First off, Sex and the city. Okay, it's an old series, I know. I just watched the movies one day, and decided that what the hell, I might as well watch the whole series, since I've probably only seen the season 4 episodes whenever they air during the nights in our country. I got really hooked on it, watched one season per day mostly, now I'm at the last season and it scares me, since I have no idea what else to watch. SAtC is kind of generic, and many people have a problem with Sarah Jessica Parkers facial features, but c'mon, that lady can dress. What I have against her, is her raspy voice and terrible screams. Super annoying. Nonetheless, I love the series. Samantha has always been my favorite, and continues to be so.

~

One word, hairdye. This obsession keeps me so preoccupied lately that I can't control myself anymore. I'm planning on bleaching the living hell out of my hair in may, to go pastel pink for god knows how long, and I've been browsing through pastel hair pictures on Weheartit for days upon days. Just yesterday I finally got around into ordering La Riche Directions semi-dye from ebay, in the color carnation pink. I'll lather and dilute it with some cheap conditioner when the day comes, and save up millions. Buying pre-made pastel dye is such a waste, when you get loads more making your own. Planning on ordering some lilac, lavender and turquoise later on, from the same company. I also saved a lot of money ordering from Ebay, the shipping is free and its 6 euros cheaper than ordering it from Finland.

A short update again. I'll do a haul once my ebay purchases arrive, but that can be weeks away, so I'll probably come up with something as interesting to talk about ( hopefully ). Keep yourselves classy!

20

Ohoy people,

I've had a rough few days. Like, really rough. Too rough, in fact. Caught a stomach bug on last Friday, thought it was only vomiting.. Ended up in hospital for three days. Gonna explain some more, but as a disclamer;

IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH GROTESQUE LOOKING BRUISES, NEEDLES AND CANNULAS, PLEASE BE WARNED THAT THIS POST WILL HAVE SUCH PICTURES.

Alright, so. I mentioned I had a stomach bug. Diabetics usually have to go to the hospital to get an IV and some liquids in them, maybe for a day or so. I was feeling horrible, so I visited our central hospital on Tuesday, after being told to visit them by a nurse whom I gave a call to. I went there, just to find out that my ketone levels were off the roof. Similar thing happened in London, so I was pretty certain I would have to spend the night, and that basically made me super sad already. Then, they took me to the ER hospital wing, and told me they needed a blood sample from my artery on my right hand. I can tell you, I never ever EVER have experienced such pain in my whole life. I cried and screamed, prayed.. Apparently my mother heard me to the other side of the hospital as well. After that was done, I was certain that the worst was behind me, just to be told that my blood was literally sour, the pH has went below the normal. That meant at least two days in the hospital and a huge load of examinations. I was devastated.

I ended up with a cannula in my left wrists artery, my right hands backside ( with three IVs stuck to it ) and later on, another one on the crook of my left arm. The first night was a hell. They woke me up every hour, to take some blood from the cannula in my artery, and after doing so, they always flushed the cannula, which I could feel through the vein in my thumb. It was like a burning sensation, switching into a cold one. It wasn't pleasant. They had huge problems with my vitals, and the doctor told me that if things continued like this, I might really die. That's when I paniced. Thankfully they managed to fix the situation.

In the span of the next few days, I managed to get better. Slowly they started giving me food and removing the cannulas. Finally, on thursday, they let me home. Its been rough even after, I've mostly slept every day. But all this made me re-evaluate my life and pay more mind to my health. I certainly don't want to go back there ever, or even for a long while.

I'm sorry about the small hiatus, and I'm sorry for this quick, unpleasant update. Thank you for reading, if you did. Stay classy.

Happy 6 month birthday Hilla <3

This'll be a picture-heavy update, just so you know.

Today, is the 6 month birthday of my puppy, Arttulan Leidi Latte "Hilla". I never really did a introduction on her, so I might as well, considering she's a huge part of my life at the moment, and hopefully will never cease to be. I know celebrating such occasions as this is a little absurd, but the life of a dog is so fleeting, I can't help myself.

My previous dog, Lecibsin Pebble "Milli", was a 8 year old bernese mountaindog. She was one of the most dearest things to me, and continues to be so. Sadly, the said breed is a tad sickly, so she perished due to lymphoma seven months ago. It was tragic, I had gone through a lot of things in that span of time, most of them negative, and her death felt like the last nail to my coffin. I was devastated, even though we made the hard decision to put her down and while doing so, let her out of her misery. Luckily, she wasn't in such a horrible shape just yet, she could still act relatively normal, as in wag her tail and greet the visitors. But the choice had to be made, even though we didn't have her cancer tests back, and weren't sure did she even have lymphoma.. But seeing her suffer, sleeping through days and having trouble breathing in the end, it was too much for me, my family, and the dog as well. Looking back, I'm glad I made the decision, since she's in a better place now ( really anti-climatic, I know ).

Shortly after her euthanasia, I already knew I couldn't go on without a dog in my life. There has always been a dog in my family ever since I was born, and there would damn well be a dog as long as I lived. My parents took some convincing to do, but later they agreed to get me a dog, that I would take care of alone. We also knew, we didn't want another bernese in the family, considering we had had three already, and they all lived short lives ( first one lived to 5, second to 3 and third to 8 ). We were browsing through possible candidate breeds, knowing we wanted a friendly, medium sized dog, that had enough energy to do long walks with, as well as maybe some other activities. We were at a stop, until I suggested getting a Siberian samoyed. The breed info read, that samoyeds were super friendly by description, energetic, loving, cuddly, hardly ever aggressive.. We thought we had hit the jackpot. Searching for breeders was the tougher part of the search.

I went through at least 18 breeders in two days, leaving them e-mails and asking, if they had puppies planned for the 2013 winter. Many of them answered simply, no. Then, a few of them pointed me into the direction of a specific breeder, that lived just a hours drive away from our house, had outstanding dogs and was borderline amazing all together. My mother made the call to her, and got to know that there were two litters of puppies being born a few weeks apart from each other, in August. We specifically wanted a female dog, since dad had terms, and didn't want a male in the house. We awaited for the first litter to be born, and when it did, the breeder gave us a call telling that there were only a few females born, and they were already taken. I was devastated, and lost all hope. My mom kept telling me that if the next litter would have two or more females, we would get one for certain. When the fateful day came, I was sitting on my computer, immersed in the WoW universe. Mom casually came talking to me about all her usual nonsense, until she just said, that "Oh and btw, the breeder called. She said that there was three girls born in the litter last night. We could have one.. If you're still interested." And yeah, I sure was. I vaguely remember crying for a few hours and then hyping the rest of the day.

During the time between her birth and the day we took her home, days seemed to go by slower. I used most of my money on things for her, like a collar, brushes, shampoo, toys, a doggy bed.. I was so anxious of her arrival, that I wished I could've slept through the days. Then the day came, and we went to the breeders to collect our little princess. We didn't pick her ourselves, the breeder had decided for us. She wanted to observe the girls, and determine which one of them was the perfect match with us. When we came inside her house, she had all the three girls in a separate room from all of the other dogs and puppies she had currently. We sat down on the floor, and each of us got a puppy in our laps. The girl, that would leave with us, ended up in my dads arms ( the one of us that wanted the dog the least ). Then we did the necessary paperwork, and off we went!

Us on her first car ride to her new home.

After that, the months have gone by flying. It only feels like yesterday I was on her first car ride to home, but here she is, almost three times as big as she was that day, and at least a hundred times more confident. It has been a emotional roller coaster. We have had bad days, good days, okay days, horrible days, amazing days.. Anything and everything between heaven and earth. But from the first day I got her in my arms, and I took her to our home, I have loved her immensely, and never stopped. Even on her cranky, bad days she makes my heart flutter in joy of having her with me. I feel like a single mom, with a ADHD albino midget kid. But a brilliant, brilliant ADHD albino midget kid.

To Hilla,
I hope you'll outlive your predecessors, because the joy you've brought to me is unfathomable. I want to have as many years with you as possible, and I promise never ever to leave you behind, because you are the most important thing to me. I will never cease to love you.

love, your mommy

Hey hey,

it's been a while. Nothing cool happened that was worth blogging about, so I had to wait for an occasion. I've been holed up home for such a long while now, taking care of the puppy and whatnot. I'm glad the weather's been nice. Too bad it's apparently going to start snowing again this week.. It should be the last wintery fallback, so I'm pretty excited. I get to wear my spring clothes! Light coats, here I come!

I went out shopping today. I had planned on leaving around when my mother got out of work, but all of the sudden, the whole of our city center lost power. That means that tills wont work either, so I got a little mental breakdown after planning this shopping trip carefully. In the internet they said, that the power would be up in two hours, but luckily they got it fixed in 30 minutes! I took my cash and off I went. I felt like this day could only get worse, so I didn't have any hopes up, but I landed on a small haul of things that I either was lucky to find or things that I have been dying to buy for the last couple of weeks or months.

First off, I visited Seppälä, in the hopes of finding decent end of the season sales. Apparently pastel pink and creamy whites with pearls and/or lace is a thing this spring, which is a shame since it'll be only a few months until my hair will be pastel pink as well. I was searching for more earthy colors, like my all time favorite, camo green or reddish browns, that sort of stuff. What I landed on was a small goldmine.

I found this coat from the sales section of the store, for 12 euro. Those who know me, are aware that I'm obsessed with coats like these, with big brass buttons and so forth.. As I was saying, this was the only one left there, in exactly my size and for as cheap as I could possibly dream of! There was this super cute long woven sweater too, but it was light pink AND IT WON'T GO WITH MY HAIR oh the pains of life.

From there I headed to H&M, mostly hoping to find a bundle of golden rings, since I finally managed to grow my nails out. Ever since I was a child, I had this gross habit of biting my nails and my cuticles, and I never quite grew out of it. I mean, I don't bite them consciously ever, but when I'm extremely stressed, I tend to do it. Stress has been 90% of my life from since I started high school, and it never ceases to be such a huge amount of it, that's why its a HUGE deal to have fully grown out nails for the first time in forever.

Okay, rant over. I don't know how the H&Ms are in other towns, but here their layout is; fancy, multiwear clothes upstairs with shoes, lingerie, jewelry and accessorizes, and sportswear, menswear, kids clothes and alternative teen clothes downstairs. It probably goes without saying that downstairs is my favorite place to go. There, I found two pieces that I've been dying to get for several years already.

First thing I got was this oversized Batman tee, that cost 14,95 e. I love oversized shirts matched with leggings, or well any pair of bottoms that are tight. I'm not a huge Batman fangirl, don't hate me for that, but I always wanted one of those vintage Batman tees, that you can find from vintage online shops or whatnot. Overall, I just love the logo, and this shirt combined the two things I love most in t-shirts: size and color.

This is by far my favorite thing I got. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I wanted to get one of those Star Wars movie cover t-shirts for a long long while, but never found any from the local stores ( even if other people seemed to find them EVERYWHERE. ) When I found these, it was love at first sight, obviously. They had the same print long sleeved shirts too, but one can never have enough leggings. The material is thick enough to be used in these last wintery days, as well as light shirts all through the summer and spring.

Last thing I got, was the rings I was supposed to get. Bought one of those simple multiple ring packages, that had around 12 rings in total. The color I chose was gold, since most of my jewelry is gold and it's the color that suits me the most.

Here you can see my nails as well :3 I'm so proooud. This was my semi-small haul, I hope you enjoyed going through it with me! Complimentary selca in the end, keep yourselves classy!

17

Greetings netizens,

it's that time of the week that I'm writing, again. I feel like I'm posting unnaturally much lately. Anyway, I've had a rough last weekend. It all started on Friday, when our dog had some bladder issues. She was also dripping out blood, so we thought it was her first period starting ( she's around that age when our latter dogs got theirs ) but luckily, her breeder told us that her dogs don't usually get their periods this early. I called a vet, booked a time, and went there to find out that she had cystitis. We got her antibiotics, and from there on she has gotten a little more livelier than before, just that she still has problems with peeing all the time and she's a tad tired. I'll feel a lot better myself when she returns to normal.. I think I get how mothers feel when their kids are feeling bad, heh.
The good thing about Friday was, my glasses arrived! They were prepaid, so I just marched off and got them from the store. They are amazing! They fit my facial features quite well, though I would've never guessed it.

It's odd using brown rims when I'm used to black... Also, I can see them in the edge of my vision all the time, so it took some getting used to. Here I am wearing them!

Oh god my roots are showing... Sigh, can't wait to bleach this whole hair helmet. But as I said before, they do really fit me. I also got the sunglasses with them. They are Timberland brand, and they were kinda expensive.. I'm glad the other pair came for free.

Black rims are back! The rims are large, which is a big plus with me when choosing glasses. The bigger, the better, isn't that what they say.. Hehe. Wish there were actually a reason to use these, since Finnish weather keeps being dim and slushy.. Later on this month, maybe. Sigh.

Another thing that arrived, was my package from H&M. I was missing one super important item from my closet, which were black leggings. I found some under 10 e from H&M online shop, so I thought of buying them with a top and some jewelry. I ended up ordering a shirt from the men´s collection, since the female tops were boring... Either way, tops are unisex in my opinion.

Here we are. In the latter jewelry picture, the upper leather cross is older than the one below, which I just bought. But I must say, its odd, I ordered these leggings as size M, which I usually am, but apparently these are way too large for me.. No sweat either way, as long as they aren't baggy on me.. If I use baggy pants, I must have a tight top, and vice versa. Cant be all tight or all baggy.. Iiif you catch my drift.

Anyway this was a quicky quicky update, hope you enjoyed it, keep yourselves classy! Complimentary outfit of the day in the end.
