Hey guys,

I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I've got three potential posts, that all need to be published during this week. First of all, my Sheer Cover beautybox arrived, and I wanted to make a small unboxing/review for you guys. On top of that, I have a few new outfit co-ords for you, as well as a 'April favorites' post that is long overdue. All of them are relatively long posts, so I can't really co-operate the ideas.. Ain't nobody got time for reading a huge ass post, tbh. I thought about starting with the Sheer cover one, and I might do a double posting today, who knows. I'm sorry that my schedule is so messed up, and my favorites post is this late, but I'm scatterbrained. Please don't judge me. I will get the post to you as soon as possible! Oh, and I made a few adjustments to the layout of my blog, adding a new site that has a small info-space about me, and some contact information. I also moved the 'pages' widget to the upper bar, to avoid widget clutter in the right column.

Okay, to start off, me and my mother ordered a Sheer cover studio deluxe package, since she had seen it on TV shop and absolutely wanted it. We didn't buy it right away after seeing the ad, since we were both skeptical, but before long, the temptation overcame my ma, and I ordered the package for her. You can find the site here. There's basically 4 types of packages you can get in three different shades. There's the Sheer cover studio basic - VIP package, that has the cheapest options. The Discovery Basic VIP is the most cheapest option, for 30 euro, but it requires posting fees, when the other packages don't. This is also the smallest package, containing :

• Perfect Shade® Mineral Foundation
• Conceal & Brighten Trio
• Sun-kissed Bronzing Minerals
• Lengthening Mascara
• Lash Extending Fibers

+
A foundation brush, a concealer brush and a bronzer brush.

There's also a possibility to get a Full size version of this exact product, for 66 euro and no posting fees. I'm not exactly sure what the 'full size' has different than the cheaper version, maybe more of the product ? Either way, what we got was the Discovery Deluxe VIP package that contains:

• Perfect Shade® Mineral Foundation
• Conceal & Brighten Trio
• Sun-kissed Bronzing Minerals
• Lengthening Mascara
• Lash Extending Fibers
Base Perfector Primer

Nourishing Moisturize SPF 15

+

A foundation brush, a concealer brush and a bronzer brush.

This package cost us 40 euro, and no posting fees. There's also a full size version of this package, and the price is 77 e. All of these sets can be obtained in the colors light, medium, tan and dark. We got the medium one.

We ordered on 25th of April, and the package came in the post today. That's.. 4 working days, excluding the weekends and that there was the May day holidays. Pretty quick I'd say, and the package arrived in pristine shape.

Here's the first look outside and inside. I love the box, it's a lavender type of pinkis color, and the insides were neatly packaged. There were two booklets within, one had instructions on how to get the perfect result with these products, and the other one had some other product details on it.

Here's all the products. In the order of the first picture: First is the mineral powder, second is the bronzer and third is the concealer and brightener trio set. Below them are the mascaras, black lash extender mascara on the top, and below it where you can't see, there's the fiber mascara. Next, in the big slot, you can see the pink container, that has the moisturizing lotion in it. There's also the primer, and three types of brushes. Everything is as promised. Next, I will show the products closer, as well as swatches.

Here's the Nourishing Moisturizer with SPF 15. It is promised to be 'Oil-free' as well as 'Fragrance-Free'. When you first open the container, you can see that it's a pop-up cap. The bottle is easy-to-use, and you can control the amount you press out fairly easily. It is, as promised, fragrance-free, but you can always smell that bit of grease, as you can with all lotions. When applied, it leaves a smooth feel on your skin. It doesn't feel oily at all, it's actually surprisingly light. It absorbs rather quickly, so it's an ideal kind of a moisturizer for me. Only con is, that it leaves a faint shimmer on your skin for a small period of time, so if you plan on throwing it on your face just as you're leaving the house, prepare to look like a giant disco-ball for a while. I'm aware that it's supposed to be used under your foundation, but I don't do foundations or powders that often. Also, the bottle is rather small, so I'm puzzled is this even capable of lasting for the promised month.

Next off, is the Sun-kissed Bronzing Minerals set. As you can tell from the swatches, they are a really rouge brown, and not really suitable for my skintone I'd say. The mix of these was too dark and red for my taste. Made me feel like I came straight out of  Jersey Shore. The texture is silky and smooth, the powder was fine and easy to apply. The powder felt really oily to me though, if that's even possible. I bet it was because of the silkiness, that made my skin feel dirty.

Next is, Conceal and brighten trio, which is most certainly my favorite item. It's similar, or well almost a replica, of the same item I have from the brand Gosh, which I absolutely love to use. I love highlighters, and this particular one is sheer and great to apply. It's greasy, as highlighters are, but not too much. It's also easy to blend in. The darkest tone concealer it has here, is too dark for me again, but the midtone suits me well enough. I'm sorry if my technical lingua isn't spot on, I'm just reviewing what I see. I never claimed to be a professional.

Here's the Perfect shade mineral powder. There's no swatch since you couldn't tell the difference from my skin and the powder. So I'd say its a perfect match. The powder itself was like most powders, and really fine grains at that. It didn't feel too heavy, but I don't like wearing powder at all, so I wouldn't be able to tell. It also felt plentiful, so this product might last longer than the promised one month.

Next off, we have the Lengthening mascara and Lash extending Fiber mascara. I must say, I'm impressed by this product. First, you apply one coat ( or two ) of the lengthening mascara, then a coat of the fibers ( you can't see them too well since my camera refused to focus, but it's fuzzy as hell ) and then, to seal the fibers in, another coat of the lengthening mascara. You can't tell the difference from close, but you can actually tell it from afar. It was extremely funny to put actual fuzzy hair onto my lashes, and it tickled. They can fall off as well mid-application, but they can be brushed off easily. I'll put a picture of my lashes after application, because I'm a retard and forgot to take a before picture. And please disregard my terrible eyebrow, it got smudged during the process.

~

Next, the Base Perfector Primer. The texture is smooth, thick and creamy. When applied, there's no scent, and your skin feels smoother the second you spread the primer. After 15 minutes, your skin feels relatively soft and smooth, and the softness will actually increase hourly, at least for 3 hours. I really liked this product as well, but it's again a small container, and I doubt it'll last long.

These are the promised Concealer, bronzer and foundation brushes. They are made from high quality goat fur and the handles are wood. They are light in hand, and the fur is smooth and soft. I'd say they are great quality, but the one using them will be my mother, not me.

So all in all, I think this box was well worth the money spent. Of course, this is judging only by the first look, but if the long term use will prove contrary, I will inform you guys. Based on what we know now, I'd happily buy this again, or repurchase some of the items individually. Especially the highlighter and concealer kit, the primer and the moisturizer.

Okay, that's it for now, remember that I might do a double post, but don't hold your breath.. Writing this felt like a full time job, with all the editing and so on. I'll catch you later, keep yourselves classy!
