Hey again guys,
I'm having a skincare day today. I mean, I do take care of my skin everyday, but today was special, and I decided to do a better job than usually. Which is fake tan my skin. And do an exceptional shaving job. But either way, since I was already getting all my creams and lotions out, I thought about doing a skincare routine post for you guys. As I've said before, I haven't had zits or breakouts ever after I turned 11. I started taking care of my skin daily back then, and haven't had big skin problems ( other than some annoying allergies ) after. So I must be doing something right. Anyway, let's get started!
~
Starting off with my in-shower routine. What I use for my body is either one of the bodywashes pictured below, from I love... -brand. The two I use regularly are Raspberry and Blackberry, Strawberries and Milkshake and Lemons and Limes.
I don't have the lemon and lime one right at this very moment, since our local supplier doesn't sell it anymore apparently. It's actually my favorite from these, since it's color is my favorite ( lime green ) and I love the ripe fragrance. These two I switch up whenever I feel like. Raspberry I use when I want to feel more feminine, since the fragrances are really strong, and they can be smelled for as long as it takes you to take a new shower. As I was saying, raspberry has a zingy tone to it, when the strawberry one is really mild and almost candy-like. I use it when I have those 'soft pastel days' when all my clothing matches the fragrance.

I feel that skin peeling is a super important part of my skincare routine. I have loofa gloves, always 3 or 4 at a time, for different bodyparts ( sounds kinky, yet it isn't. ) The pink one that's on the top in the picture, is my face loofah. I don't use it always, but at least once or twice a week. If you use it too much, the skin can start becoming too dry but if you don't use it at all, your skin will definitely feel a lot more coarse. The two lime green one's below are for my upper body and lower body. I always scrub my skin before shaving, which prevents the new hair from getting stuck and growing inside your skin. Trust me, it's a true story.

~
Next off, is my face routine. I do scrub my face mostly in shower, and almost never outside of the shower, and I always use really strong stuff. That's why they can't be used daily, since they make your skin really dry, like a clay mask if you use them too much. First, is my favorite, Nivea Pure Effect- Clean Deeper daily wash scrub. This really works guys! It gives you a matte finish, and no blackheads. I sometimes scrub this on with a loofah, but only the said one or two times. Rubbing it in with your fingers should do the trick as well.
The next bottle is actually empty at the moment, so I should get more. PureActive Intensive Deep pore unclogging Gel Wash is super effective. It has salicylic acid in it, and that's my weakness in skin products. If it has salicylic acid in it, I probably want it. This gel will definitely keep your skin pure and feeling soft, and I can promise you it'll burn like hell while it does so. The more you use it, the less it will burn, since your skin is getting better and better every time you use it. And the more it burns, the more that spot needs to be cleansed. Do recommend.

I'm gonna go through with what I use for my hair as well, though nobody asked for it. I'll do it anyway, just to spite you.
Here's the two must-haves for me. The shampoo is a thing I will not change for as long as I live, I think. I've tried a lot of different shampoos in my lifetime, but none have been as good as the ProSeries Volume series. I've used their Paris shampoo, Volume shampoo and now this Berlin wave boost shampoo and they all have worked perfectly for me. My hair stays oil free longer and isn't as coarse, even without using any conditioner. Which brings me to the conditioner that I use in huge bulk bottles. BedHead Tigi Epic Volume conditioner is super good also, it lasts long, and the fragrance is amazing. It's like cotton candy, and your hair will smell like it for forever and ever. Makes me want to eat my own hair.
~
Now, lets get on with my after shower routine. I start off with this toner, that's my all time favorite. Biotherm has great lotions and toners for all skin types. I use this one below, Biotherm Biosource instant hydration toning lotion. I gently press it on my face with a towel or a cotton pad, and let it dry before going for other stuff.
~
Then I take out this s funny looking stick. It's a mascara. Surprised? It's a conditioning mascara, and an amazing one at that. Lipocils expert conditioning mascara promises that your lashes will look healthier, darker and they will curl after use. And by Gods, they do all three. I use this after shower and a few hours before applying makeup. If you put it straight away, your lashes will look wet, even with a normal mascara on, but if you let it dry, you won't even need a lash curler. At least I don't. It's also a bit expensive, it costs around 30 e a vial, but it's worth it imo.
~
Next I apply my eye creme. Everything is fine, but I love this Lancôme Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye Illuminating Youth Activator because it's super light, easy to apply and I love the bottle design. They also have this little ball applicator wand, that's super cute but a little pointless tbh.
~
After my eyes, I use my face lotions. I have a lot of these, that I use for different types of the day and year. Right now I'm using the Sheer cover Nourishing Moisturizer with SPF 15 and Biotherm AquaSource. The sheer cover one is super light, absorbs right away and is still suffices, as for the Biotherm, it's thick and creamy, and I usually use it on cold days with low humidity and/or winter.
~
Then, I spread a thick layer of Prima Spremitura Burro Cacao lipbalm on my lips, to keep them moisturized.
~
This little bad boy, Norwegian Deep Moisture Body Lotion, is for my ear, that gets infected and dry from time to time, and my cuticles when they are extra dry.
~
This is not actually a new part of my routine, but I only do it in summers. After everything else, I whip up my Dove Summer glow nourishing lotion and spread it on my legs and arms. It doesn't tan a lot, which is great for me, since I hate the fake look it gives, if the self tanning lotion is too orange or too dark.
~
Final touch for my body is H&M brand Body mist, in the fragrance Desert rose. I spray some on my legs and my arms and neck, after the self tan lotion is dried up.
~
Last skincare lotion I use is Lumene Arctic Aqua Deep Hydration Hand cream, for obvious reasons.
~
To finish off everything, I put some BC Bonacure Oil Miracle treatment in my hair, to make it soft as silk. It's good for frizzy hair and split ends too.
~
That concludes my post for today. I hope you enjoyed it, and find some new things for you to try out in your skin care routine ! If you have questions, please ask them in the comment section. As always, thank you for reading, and stay classy folks!
