February Favorites

I thought about starting a new section on my blog, and that is grouping up the things I've loved the past month. I'll try to write a similar post in the end of each month, listing all the things that I have been keen on doing/buying/listening/eating/etc. etc. during the said month! This would've been way cooler if I had written it starting from January, but no can do, at least now the mini headline rhymes.

Let's start with what I've been watching. One of my absolute favorite shows currently is Shingeki No Kyojin like it is everybody else´s too, apparently. I mean, I had my reservations. I hate when people hype up a show and then it doesn't deliver ( like the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Arrow.. ) but with this, the hype was deserved. I used to watch a lot more anime than I do now, same goes for manga, and if I do, I usually choose shoujo as my category. It's either high school romantic bullcrap for me, or ruthless gore. A good example on the gore category is Gantz. I've read the whole manga series and watched the live action movies, it's perfect. If you like blood and bits of intestines flying with a splash of good storyline, please, go ahead and give this show a try. Same with Shingeki. It wasn't as gory as it could've been, what with subtle censoring of the Titans eating humans, but the whole series has this eerie, creepy feeling to it that keeps you captured. Also, the awesome characters don't make it any easier. It only has the first season out, and a few special episodes, and as much as I HATE waiting for new episodes to come out the normal pace, this is a series I can't just abandon. I might even watch the first season once or twice.

Second thing that I've been watching, is Reign. This series just started airing in our country a few weeks back, and it's about how Ireland's queen is supposed to marry France's future king in order to access their military fleets for the protection of Ireland from English army forces. She loves the prince, but due to unforeseen events they cannot marry, and also France's current queen opposes their marriage for she believes that her son will be killed whilst courting with the Irish Queen and so forth and so on. I like these kinds of shows, not all of them though ( Vikings.... Not my cup of tea ) but this one was so captivating. I love the dresses, the actors, the plot.. Even if I can sense that the plot won't be progressing fast enough and it'll start drag on and on at some point... Just that, there's something about this show that interests me to the greatest point. It might be because I think the Irish Queen, Mary (played by Adelaide Kane ) is super beautiful in an wild, unkempt way.

Then onwards to the things that I've been listening. There's actually only one thing that I've been more into lately, and that is the kpop group VIXX. I don't like all their music, but the one's that I do like, are very similar to another ( for example Hyde, Voodoo doll and On and on ). I'm not a big fangirl, I don't have a huge bank of pictures of members, I rarely know their names ( exception to the rule is Big bang and EXO ) and I don't obsessively listen to their music... But if I ever like more than one song from a group, it means I really like them. Plus, kpop groups are infamous for having crazy haircolors, and my god do I love following their hair history ( creepy, not at all :-D).

And to the last category, what I've been obsessively eating. So, I started a diet kind of a thing that's been going on for a month or so now. I only eat porridge in the mornings, soup in the day and rarely I eat apples/bananas in evening.. But since my kcal intake has been too low, I allowed myself to eat stuff with wheat on it. And I went crazy. I've been binge-eating toast and Tuc Sourcream and Onion flavored salted crackers. You'd think I'd put on weight when I've been eating, seriously like three packs of the crackers every day, but apparently not. I should slow down... I probably won't, at least not for the next few days... I feel ashamed.

That's it, I hope y'all liked this post, complementary selca in the end as always, keep yerselves classy!
